Carter participated in his first Pinewood Derby. He won two races before being knocked out by the eventual winner.He named his car The Safety Vest because of the colors he chose to paint the car. He won the Neon Feon award for the most colorful car.

Kathy says...today we had a missionary farewell in church. The missionaries poor little girl friend has been bawling and mourning these last few weeks and especially today. It made me think of how Summer would be when a certain Elder Peach leaves on a mission! If she can't handle leaving Carter at age 7, how is she going to manage when she is 18. She still adores Carter.
